Worthy Brother Knights,
I would like to thank all the delegates of this year's convention for your support and I
will do my best to serve all the Knights of the jurisdiction of Delaware. I am writing this
as I prepare to embark for New Haven, which I am sure, will be an informative and
humbling experience.
There is a lot to be excited about in the next Columbian year. Jerry Dawson has been
leading with dedication and spirituality; we owe it to him to keep up the enthusiasm.
One item I think we need to focus our passions on is the scholarship program. We have
the opportunity to mold the next generation of Catholics and we need put a renewed
effort into this program.
Let us give thanks for all the Lord has given us and continues to give. The Knights of Columbus is an ideal way
to grow in our Church and our community. Let us go forward with the spirit of Fr. Michael J. McGivney and show
those we encounter why we feel the Knights are an "Experience of a Lifetime".
Andy Elisee, State Deputy 2007-2008
My Dear Brother Knights:
Another Columbian year is upon us. The 125th anniversary of our Order with it's
theme: Faith in Action:and the 65th year of Columbianism in the jurisdiction of Dela-
ware with it's theme: Let us give thanks to the Lord our God.
Indeed as we go forward in faith we look to the actions of the past while looking for-
ward to the challenges of the future of our Faith and Order. As we give thanks to Our
Father, we ask His continued blessing's for the future that our honored Order may re-
main alive and fruitful in the jurisdiction of Delaware.
Vivat Jesus!
