The Most Blessed Sacrament School's Advisory Board of Di-
rectors is sponsoring a fundraising golf tournament at the ex-
clusive Cripple Creek Golf Club in Millville, Delaware on Tues-
day, May 22, 2007. Golfers will get a round of golf, a mulligan,
a cart, lunch with beverage, door prizes, and a gift bag for the
$125 entry fee. Although the school is in Maryland and doesn't
benefit from any Delaware State Council fundraisers, it is un-
der the auspices of the Diocese of Wilmington and has 217
students who live in Delaware and whose families are mem-
bers of Delaware parishes. Delaware Knights of Columbus
councils are asked to support this effort by sponsoring holes at
$100 each and signing up golfers. To guarantee a spot or to
sponsor a hole, please contact Jack McGinley at (302) 945-
0698 or Don Clark (302) 945-1555 asap.

"IN MEMORIAM"
We shall have the inspiration of a very special guest
speaker at our 64th Annual State Council Conven-
tion Banquet. Bernadette McKenzie Kutufaris,
whose cure and recovery from a crippling spinal
aliment was declared a miracle by Pope John Paul
II in March 2001, provided the second miracle
needed for the canonization of Saint Leonie Fran-
ces de Sales Aviat, founder of the Oblate Sisters of
St. Frances de Sales.
VETERANS AFFAIRS
The Knights of Columbus are currently represented in more
than 120 VA medical centers out of 154 nationwide. We need
representation in the other 30 facilities to reach 100%. As an
organization we are doing our part to support our Veterans
through our support of the Veteran Affairs Volunteer Service
(VAVS) program. We have a continuing need to recruit volun-
teers as VAVS reps, fully scheduled volunteers, and occa-
sional volunteers for specific programs. As Knights let us be
firm in our resolve to support our Veterans through our in-
creased and sustained participation in the VAVS.
Tours of the VA Hospital in Elsmere, may be arranged and
escorted by Ralph Rossi, Master 4th Degree. Paul V. Lardiz-
zone of Dover Council is the primary VAVS Rep. in Delaware
assisted by Reynold E. Cierniak of Coffee Run Council.
