Grand Knight David Brown and the members of Brother Vin-
cent Council wish to thank the State officers, Rev. R. Martin,
Director of Seminarians and newly ordained Rev. Adrian Bara-
niak who made excellent presentations on vocations, and to all
who helped celebrate the 25th Anniversary of our charter.
Thanks to Old Bohemia, Dover, Our Lady of Perpetual Help,
and Our Lady of Guadalupe Councils for their support. They
made the event financially successful.
Thanks to the Worthy Master and 4th Degree Color Corps and
all the Sir Knights who attended at the Mass at St. Polycarp
before the dinner. Father Tom Flowers, our chaplain, gave an
outstanding homily and prepared a ten page booklet on the
Knights which we will use for recruiting.
Thanks too for the wonderful service provided by the Marydel
Fire-hall crew who served so efficiently. The food was deli-
cious, the music loud, and the fellowship fantastic. The 80 door
prizes donated by local businesses held everyone's interest.
The 50-50 for our RSVP program also was well received, and
the check has gone out to our seminarian Ian Buterbaugh at St
Mary's Seminary.
Even the drawing for the grand prize, a hand made full-size
afghan with the K of C logo knit in full color was won by past
Supreme Director Vince DiLeonardo who was SD during some
of our council's darkest days but he always urged us on.
Last but not least, our thanks to PSD Ralph Rossi, president of
the Marydel VFD who helped guide us through the entire proc-
ess to make the evening a night to remember. .
He really does know how to throw a party.
