General Agents Message
Worthy Grand Knights, I would like
to take this opportunity to congratu-
late you on your position with the
Order, and on behalf of all Field
Agents, I wish you the best of luck
this Columbian year. Please contact
your Field Agent as soon as possible
and review your plans with him for
the coming year. He can help your
council with setting up and coordi-
nating membership drives,
organiz-
ing a Fraternal Benefits Night at
your council, achieving your Star
Council requirements, and attending
and speaking at all 1
st
Degrees held
by your council.
Grand Knights can also help the
Field Agent in a number of
ways. Listing the agent's name and
telephone number and putting arti-
cles in your council
newsletter, re-
minding your members of the Or-
der's benefits programs at council
meetings when the
agent is not present,
e
ncouraging all new
members to meet
with the agent to review all bene-
fits available, and providing your
agent with your most up-to-date
telephone list (this is crucial upon
the death of a member) will go a
long way toward creating a win-
win situation for both you and your
agent.
Once again, my congratulations to
you, and my best wishes for an en-
joyable year as Grand Knight.
Please do not hesitate to contact
me at 26 Pacific Avenue, Bayville,
NJ 08721, (732) 237-0903, or
kofcmcgeehan@aol.com if I can be
of assistance to you.

Win A Harley!
The Old Bohemia Council Harley Davidson raffle is in full swing. Come Octo-
ber 8
th
, 2005, someone who purchased a $10 raffle ticket will take home a
2005 Harley Davidson Heritage Softail motorcycle. There are a number of
good reasons to purchase a ticket. Many people buy one to support the Coun-
cil. Others will buy to get an $18,000 bike that can be resold to finance a
home improvement project. Some Councils and Assemblies buy a group of
tickets and plan to re-raffle the bike if they win to really boost their treasury.
And then there are many latent bikers out there, who will buy a ticket just so
they get a chance to possibly own a Harley and feel the wind in their
hair (while they still some). For whatever reason you buy a ticket, the
brother Knights of Old Bohemia Council appreciate your support. So, call
Joe Stackler at (410) 398-1147 or Cookie Bush at (302) 218-0764, or see any
Old Bo brother to purchase your chance to "Ride Free" on what is arguably
the most sought after motorcycle on the planet.
